Another embroidered dress. I can't help it, Metisu has some grogeous dresses!
The moment I laid my eyes on this dress, I knew I had to have it - there's nothing prettier than colourful floral embroidery on a black canvas - at least that's how I see this dress: ethereal, the black tulle so soft and see-through it almost feels like the air itself took the shape of a dress and magical florals floating around.
This dress makes you feel powerful, confident, almost like a witch. It makes you want to enjoy every single second October has while sipping a hot pumpkin spiced latte. It makes you want to dance under the moonlight.
That's what I like to call magic: getting intense inspiration from all those little things, letting your imagination flow and being a dreamer...it never falls out of style.

Friday night, that means the weekend is on! Not for all of us, I know. But for some of us.
While it's getting colder outside, I prefer to stay cosy and therefore remain indoors for the evening. I know, all you want is to wear your fav shorts and chunky jumper, together with those fluffy socks, but why not celebrate inside? Put some makeup on, do your hair and put a lace dress on! Yup, you can just cook pasta and sip some wine in this outfit, and that's because you don't care. You can just watch Netflix in it, just because you can and no one will see you. My husband will see me so yas to that. Why not pamper yourself? And "ruin" the dress by staying in and playing board games. I'm in for all that!
Or put your shoes on, throw a trench coat on and get out! Go to your local store and buy your fav magazine. And an ice-cream and some crisps. Yup, the people will stare. And that's the fun part. That's one of my fav things to do when I'm bored: just put something funky on, dress up, stand out and go to Tesco. Ah, the simple things in life. So, who's in?
Love,

Reality is what you make it. However you want to live, you can. Take a break from your old habits and start new ones.
Hello lovelies,
Guess who's back! I am back to London, after a month back home in Transylvania. Together with Cristian, we've been travelling in many magical places across Romania, I'm sure many of you have already discovered our journey on my Instagram.
I took a little break from with the blog too, as I wanted to focus more on real experiences, on enjoying the moment, and less on entering a virtual world. My MacBook stayed at home for most of the time, there were long days when I wouldn't even touch it. And trust me, that felt great.
Creating new habits feels good, especially when it involves doing something for yourself and for the others. Being there, for real. Not just an avatar, not just a retouched and carefully curated image, not just words and pixels, but your actual self. The way you actually are, with your actual family, friends, people that are there for you no matter what. Not just double-tapping a photo edited in four different apps, but embracing you, as a whole being, as a magical creature. Have you tought of that lately?
We're so blinded by getting followers, showing our perfect self in selfies and photos, maintaing an image, and even altering our reality - I mean even adding a simple filter alters reality, that we forget to live in the real world. And we should do it. We should do it more often. It will restart our brains and upgrade ourselves. It's good to do a reality check, at least from time to time.

When I found this satin cami dress, I thought about Courtney Love and her grungy 90's style. That's where I wanted to take this dress, in the past more than in the present. Altough the present is the past, so you can't really see the difference now.
I love cami dresses and I can confess I own quite a few: some new, some vintage, some perhaps just sleepwear which I wear as outwerwear. This though, is a really "loud one": the bold red, the bold slit, the deep V both in the front and back. Yup, it can be one of those femme-fatale dresses, if worn wih sky-high heels, a bold red lip, Hollywood curls. Maybe I will wear it like that on one evening, for a dinner out.
But until then, I decided to make it street-able. It just goes perfectly with the inside of my Mansur Gavriel bucket back (which is already a classic, I know - but I bought it 3 years back if I'm not wrong), a statement cap and chunky trainers.
Not your usual combo, but it works. I definitely feel at my best dresses this way.
How would you guys wear this dress?
Love,
