"Isn't that what perfection is? Imperfect people that balance out madness."
Adrian Michael
One of the outfits I truly feel perfect in? Most certainly, this one. A pair of jeans, my fav wrap blazer and some interesting details. Well, it's cold outside so I had no chance of wearing it out as it is now, but below you will see how I actually wore the blazer - winter version. Sometimes, all you need for the most feminine of outfits is few masculine pieces. Pretty contradictory, no?
In my opinion, the attitude matters the most. Sometimes, certain pieces work beautifully on yourself just because they are so opposite to your way of being. But it's you, your body, gestures, your spirit what makes an outfit great. Why can some of us look good in whatever we're wearing while some seem to look awful in every single item they put on (usually super-rich people who think that by purchasing a very expensive piece will make them stand out - what a sad illusion!). Think about that and how much your inner self can transform a simple outfit into a sophisticated one. Oh well, this is sophisticated with a small dose of kinkiness.

Welcome to 2017, known in the fashion zodiac as the Year of the Trench. The humble trench coat got its huge revival this year, being seen everywhere on the runway: Simone Rocha, Balenciaga, Edun, Marni, Marc Jacobs, Jason Wu, Céline, Maison Martin Margiela, Erdem etc., even Vetements. So it got my attention, it doesn't look that boring anymore!
Wear the trench coat on a rainy day for a mysterious, feminine approach or on a sunny day for you to have the most wonderful day. Wear it with a jumper underneath, tights and socks for a funny, sophisticated and contemporary twist or wear nothing underneath for a romantic date. Wear it as you wish, just wear it and make the most of it by accessorising it correctly.
I got mine from Dezzal, from a brand called Production Garden which I adore! To be honest, this is the most amazing trench coat ever - it's details are superb - I love the oversized ring belt, the piece of fabric at the back that has to be tied together with sleeves - some pretty amazing ribbon details are born, and they're different every time you tie them. I simply love the clean, crisp white and its minimalism and modernism. Find it here.
This is definitely my hero item for 2017, which one is yours? I would love to hear about your one indispensable piece for 2017, comment below ♡.
