Some days I am really tired of layering, of wearing bulky, heavy clothes...that's when spring comes into mind. Longer days, sunshine, a gentle breeze through my hair, hopes of a back-to-normal world...

There is nothing though, that can stop me from building myself a Spring/Summer wardrobe, so that's what I am doing. Once again, I had found some cool pieces on SHEIN which I styled & shoot for you.

The beige suit is one of my favs, as it actually comes in two pieces which are sold separately, which of course can be mixed into millions of different outfits. I love its asymmetrical built, it's so sophisticated in its simplicity - especially when paired with the oversized chain mules, inspired by JW Anderson.

There is the green dress in faux leather that I am soooo in love with! The shade of green is perfect, and so is its fit, with puffy shoulders and oversized sleeves - I love the 60s vibes of its A-line shape, that's why I went for knee-high boots, which are also SHEIN, they come in a light gray and feature a croc texture which, again, I am a big fan of.

Last but not least, there's the tropical print blazer which I instantly imaged in a sort of all-black look, as you can see below. The blazer screams summer and that brings a big smile on my face!

Find the links to every single piece I am wearing below, together with my discount code for you.

Enjoy!

Given the fact I currently live in London, I find leather (be it real or faux) to be one of the coolest, most versatile and easy-to-wear in all types of weather fabric. It can cover you up properly on a rainy day, it can protect you from the nasty autumn wind - and trust me, we have plenty of it here, it can look effortlessly chic on a sunny day. Bref, it's simply perfect!

I found the coolest pieces on SHEIN this time, and I got dressed in this fab material head to toe! The knee-high boots in beige are a dream, I've been wanting them ever since I first laid my eyes on'em: the kitten heel, the pointy but square toe, their length and particular hue...just wow. Then there is the 70s-inspired faux leather dress which comes in many colours, but I went for this gorgeous duck egg green, the khaki jacket with oversized collar, an oversized biker jacket in light gray (another dream), the Bottega-inspired box bag in a beautiful shade of light blue and last but not least, the only thing I got which isn't leather - the black top/dress, made from the softest fabric.

I don't want to bore you so I'll just leave the links to every single piece down below. And a discount code to use on your new SHEIN order. Enjoy!

December is finally here, without its magical snow, unfortunately...we can all feel the sad effects of the global warming and it actually scares me to think that my future children aren't going to feel joy of winters that once were, the winters of my childhood, when you couldn't wear light clothes once November started and everything was covered in a thick layer of fluffy snow, with our windows painted with frost flowers for most of the winter, until the first snowdrops shyly peaked from the snow.

The houses in my neighbourhood from back home, in Transylvania, were all covered in snow, with gigantic icicles hanging from every corner of their roofs. Everything used to be white. It would snow for days and nights, continuously - there was that much snow everywhere that my grandad used to carry me on sleigh from in front of our block of flats, for few kilometres, until we got to a nearby forest where we would have so much winter fun that hours later, would get back home during an apocalyptic snow storm, to find our feet and clothes soaking wet and our noses and ears so red that Rudolph would've been jealous.

The snowflakes were gigantic and whenever I wasn't out, I loved starring out the window of my 3rd floor flat, watching them dance chaotically for hours, until they transformed everything they touched into a soft, thick blanket of snow. Drinking a hot cocoa and reading were really the hygge highlights of those times.

The best winters were those when we had a White Christmas too. That meant that my friends and I (we were a group of four girls), would go carolling from flat to flat until it was too late for us to be out and until our pockets were full of cash - people used to give us money once the carolling was done, and everything would happen while outside was snowing so hard - everything was white and frozen. Snowing on Christmas Eve. A true miracle now that I come to think about it. It's not that I miss those times, my soul is actually broken from never getting to live those experiences ever again.

I wasn't going to write about the best memories of my life, but here I am. Winter has that force, that power, of carrying your soul away, down into the realm of nostalgia and fine memories, where you're a child and everything is still possible because dreams do come true. Do you remember?
