Stay At Home, But Make It Worth Your While

April 06, 2020

There's nothing more you probably want these days than simply going out, enjoying spring, Mother Nature's rebirth, the warm sunshine on your skin, the breeze through your locks. I do too.

But while you're busy making plans, life has other plans for you. So we need to be patient, grateful that we are alive and well, and stay confident that this too, shall pass. Soon.

Take this time as an opportunity for change - swap your old bad habits with something new, useful and fun, challenge yourself into discovering new hobbies, meet new people online, stay in contact with your friends and family daily, relax your body and mind...take some time off from adulting ( for those who can still do this) and be a child once again, at least for a day.

There are so many things, both little and big to be grateful for, why not make a list so you can actually detail each of them and truly be aware of how bountiful and beautiful your life is? Do this instead of continuously poisoning your mind and spirit with negativity from the news.
It's ok to know what is going on in your town, country and the world in general. But just as everything, you need to have a measure; to be careful on how you filter your information, what is true and what isn't, what is worth knowing and what isn't and so on...focus more on what you CAN do instead of what you can't. Spend your time wisely and enjoy every moment. When your life was very busy you kept complaining you don't get enough time for yourself, your family or enough sleep. Now you have everything, just please focus on the good. There is plenty.
