Urban Hiker

October 19, 2016

In my last post, I talked about denim and how on trend it is. Today, I chose to wear double denim - but this time, a vintage shearling denim jacket which I bought from Paris and a vintage high waisted pencil skirt - the outfit has that American feel to it, a bit country, which I love! The flower embroidered jumper in thick cotton featuring a roll neck is a warm, indispensable piece! It's from SammyDress and you can buy it on this link - HERE.

I wouldn't say the shearling is IN now, because it always is. It's timeless, it's poetic, it's relaxed! I've been wearing it since I can remember, my father is wearing it too...it's just something I will continue wearing because of the (thermal) comfort it gives and because it always looks cool. And I suggest you wear it too - on the street, when hiking - it doesn't matter.

The hiking inspired mountain boots in patent leather turns the outfit into a urban hiking, Americana infused story. I would definitely wear this in a forest, slightly covered by the first snow, trying to find my way to the cabin in the woods.
